We’re hitting the gas and opening the doors – Speed Shift Distilling’s brand-new tasting room is ready for takeoff, and you’re invited to celebrate with us on Saturday & Sunday, July 12–13, 2025!
Come cruise by between 11 AM and 5 PM Saturday and Sunday to sample our handcrafted lineup of spirits. A Tasting is $10 all weekend, and if something revs your engine, you can purchase bottles of anything you try. This is your chance to experience the craft behind our rum, gin, moonshine, and bourbon—all made with grit, precision, and a good dose of classic car spirit.

Location
You’ll find us at 2118 James Street, inside the Nissen & Associates Tax office building (yes, you read that right). The tasting room entrance is around the back and up the stairs. Look for signs and follow the laughter and music.
Parking
There’s free parking in front, on James Street, or behind the building. No pit crew required.
What to Expect
- $10 Tasting of our full spirit lineup (while supplies last) which includes EnGIN, High Octane 108 (moonshine), Barn Find Bourbon and the original Vrum Rum. Tasting fee is waived with any bottle purchase!
- First dibs on bottle purchases
- Chill garage vibes, great conversation, and a little horsepower in every pour
